Installation Character Set
You need a PC with a serial port (COM 1, COM 2,…).
1. Switch off the mega-marker
2. The PC is with the supplied serial cable (both female SUB) and the mega-marker.
3. Switch on the mega-marker.
4. Initial installation:-> otherwise continue with Step 5
On the PC, the software "MegaDater" (CD-ROM) as follows installed.
The directory "MegaDater" on the hard copy of the PC.
- In the directory on the hard drive.
- Execute "MegaDater.exe".
After the installation is an icon on the desktop.
5. Double-click on the icon on the desktop, the software starts up.
6. Click on the button „Zeichensatz“,
7. Click on the button “Zeichensatz Upload starten” to select the file.

8. Change into the directory which the font (*. mzs) is stored in
(Mega-Dater directory), double-click on the file. (For example)
Now the character set with the new data overwrites the old one,
at the end come the text " Übertragung erfolgreich beendet ”
9. Close the Software
10. Switch off the mega-marker
11. Connect the Meg-Marker with the PDA
12. Switch on the mega-marker.
