Selecting View Part Modes

To set up a filter to identify instances only
1.
Select the Select View Part Mode icon from the Multipart Access task set.
2.
Select the Identify only instances option from the Select View Part Mode
property sheet.
3.
Select Apply from the Select View Part Mode property sheet.
The following appears in the text window.
Selected VPMode is VPE
If you then select an entity-specific option (Query icon from the top bar selecting
the middle icon on the bottom row), you get only the information on the instances
selected in the part. If you select graphic data from the active part, the system
backslashes the selection.
