How the

O
OVERVIEW: Cellulose, Fiberglass,

ggoes through

while also sw

A
Airlock and
d Seals
TThe airlock assembly
a
is one
o the most important items to keeep in good ccondition. Fo
oreign objectts in the
aairlock can cause damagge and reducce the machiine’s producction. Seal faailure is the m
most commo
on
aairlock assem
mbly failure. Seal failure
e prevents th
he airlock froom holding tthe proper p
pressure. Seeal
ffailure will re
educe the machine’s
m
pro
oduction. A machine wi th seal failure will have air blow outt of the
aairlock into the
t hopper, reducing the
e amount off air exiting tthe machinee outlet. It iss recommended to
vvisually inspe
ected seals each
e
week to
o ensure pro
oper runningg condition. Replace airrlock seals if a cut or
ttear is eviden
nt. Airlock seals
s
should be replaced
