The insu ulation ggoes through h the agitato or. The agitaator breaks‐u up and condditions the in nsulation forr proper den nsity w while also sw weeping the insulation in nto the airlo ock. The airloock transporrts the insulation into th he aairstream cre eated by the e blower system. Insulattion is disch arged from the airlock, through thee m machine outtlet, and into o the hose. The T insulatio on is furtherr conditioned d as it travells through th he hose. A An introducttion to key components of the system ffollows: EElectrical Panel: The ele ectrical pane el, combined d with tthe operatorr panel and wireless w rem mote, provide es for o operation off the machine. G Ground Faullt Circuit Inte errupter and d Circuit b breakers: Th hese devicess, located on ne the Electrrical P Panel below the hopper tray, are ite ems intended d to eensure safe operation o off the system. The GFCI p protects against the systtem shortingg out and putting tthe operatorr at risk when coming intto contact with w w water. The circuit c breakkers are inten nded to prevvent o overloading and damage e to the equiipment. FFigure 1 LLoading Plattform: The loading platfform is used to ssupport the cellulose, fib berglass, or stonewool s in nsulation as it is being lo oaded into the machine. H Hopper: The e hopper forr the Fiber Fo orce is availaable in b both the stan ndard size and Tall. The ere are otherr aavailable safety and perfformance op ptions available for tthe Tall hopp per. H Hopper: The e hopper con ntains the in nsulation beiing fed into the agitaators. A Agitators: The agitator condition c the fibrous insulation. The T configuration of the agitators en nable h high producttion rates an nd appropriaate insulation n cconditioningg. The agitattors also tran nsport the insulation intto the airlocck. SSlide Gate: The T slide gatte is betwee en the agitators and tthe airlock. The T slide gatte allows inssulation to faall into Figure 2 TT: 303‐83 33‐6644 or o 800‐666 6‐1611 O Original Languag ge ‐ English www w.inteccorrp.com IInstruction M Manual | 5 tthe airlock. The T slide gatte is opened d fully duringg typical opeeration. Closse the gate sslightly to increase tthe condition ning of the insulation an nd alter ratio o of insulatioon to airflow w. A Airlock: The e airlock tran nsfers the inssulation from m the agitatiion system into the airsttream witho out ccoming into contact with h the blowerr. Insulation n is dischargeed from the airlock into the hose. B Blowing Hosse: The blow wing hose ffurther cond ditions the in nsulation as it i ttransports th he product from the airlo ock tto the installation locatio on. Note thaat yyou will want to use a minimum of 50 5 ffeet of hose to ensure prroper materrial cconditioningg. Figure 3 provides an o overview of the 2‐1/2” hose h provide ed w with the systtem Note th he section with w ttwo connectors (lower le eft of Figure 3) is connected d to the FiberForce blowing m machine; the e section witth the wirele ess rremote transsmitter is co onnected to the t ffirst piece. The hop pper’s key sllot will matcch the bases ‘key’ as inten nded with this orientatio on; allowing the t ready ligght to come on an nd the system m to be operational. 6. Make e sure there is nothing le eft in the hopper from trransporting.. Often n reducers, extra e power cords, wirelless remotess, hose and various other too ols are left in n the hopperr on start upp causing dam mage to the agitator, those tools, and the airrlock. C Cleaning C Clean the intterior and exxterior of the e machine weekly w by wi ping with a rag and/or b blowing with h ccompressed air; this will help maintaain the longe evity of the mechanical components in addition n to the ssystem’s finish. The macchine has be een designed d to work in a dusty environment. H However, witthout p periodic cleaaning and maaintenance, the perform mance of thee machine will decline po otentially leaading to ffailure. P Power Cord d YYour power cord c is subje ect to consid derable wearr and tear duuring normaal operation.. Inspect all ccords p prior to use to t ensure saafe operation n. If any dam mage is obseerved, be surre to repair o or replace beefore o operating the machine to avoid perssonal injury. Note: Do n ot pull on po ower cords w while pluggeed into m machine as damage d mayy occur. A Airlock and d Seals TThe airlock assembly a is one o the most important items to keeep in good ccondition. Fo oreign objectts in the aairlock can cause damagge and reducce the machiine’s producction. Seal faailure is the m most commo on aairlock assem mbly failure. Seal failure e prevents th he airlock froom holding tthe proper p pressure. Seeal ffailure will re educe the machine’s m pro oduction. A machine wi th seal failure will have air blow outt of the aairlock into the t hopper, reducing the e amount off air exiting tthe machinee outlet. It iss recommended to vvisually inspe ected seals each e week to o ensure pro oper runningg condition. Replace airrlock seals if a cut or ttear is eviden nt. Airlock seals s should be replaced d every 300 hhours of opeeration, or once per year. Visit w www.intecco orp.com or contact c Intecc for replace ement instruuctions. FFilter C Clean the airr inlet prior to t each job. If the filter gets dirty duuring the job b, wipe clean n as approprriate to eensure inlet air is movingg into the syystem. G Gearbox TThe motor and drive on the Fiber Fo orce is mainttenance freee. But it is im mportant to inspect and lubricate the e sprockets and a chain at least once per p year. Usse a dry lubricant that w will not attracct dust aand insulatio on. B Blower Bru ushes TTo best access brush rep placement, itt is suggeste ed to removee the blowerr from the b base of the Fiber F Force. Disconnect the wire thaat is connectted to the en nd of the w white brush and slide the old brush from the mo otor. Recon nect the wirre in the ssame fashion n on the new w brush and slide back in nto the houssing. Do nott force the b brush into th he housing. It can only be b installed one o way.
