Note: The RSIP RM: x-keepalive command does not require any 200 OK from the MGC. In this case, the 200 OK is optional. Note: The following parameters also apply if the unit is running the NCS signalling protocol. Offer/Answer Model Standards Supported • RFC 3264 – An Offer/Answer Model with the Session Description Protocol (SDP) You can define whether the Mediatrix 4100 requires strict adherence to RFC 3264 from the peer when negotiating capabilities for the establishment of a media session. To define how to process the Offer/Answer model: 1. Mediatrix 4100 In the mgcpncsExperimentalMIB, set the mgcpncsValidateOfferAnswerModel variable to the proper value. 79
