6.2. Monitoring a Switch or Relay
In this application, the AFS-16 will monitor a switch or relay.
When the switch closes for more than one minute, the unit will
automatically switch modules 3, 4, 5, and 6 to path "B". Later,
if the switch returns to the open position, the AFS-16 will return
modules 3, 4, 5, and 6 to path "A".
1. Pull Input Level High: Remove the Control Module from
the frame unit. Place Jumper J3 in the "1" position. This
will pull the input to normally high. Replace the Control
Module.
2. Connect Line from Switch: Connect the Switch to the
AUX Port as shown in Figure 6.4.
