4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 to install the other heatsink if you have
installed a second CPU, then connect the fan cable to the 4-pin connector
labeled CPU_FAN2. The heatsinks appear as shown when installed.
3.5 Installing Memory
The serverboard has Six DDR-DIMM (Double Data Rate Dual In-line Memory
Modules) slots for the installation of memory modules. The memory modules
require 1.8V DDR SDRAM memory chips.
Follow these instructions to install memory modules:
1. Unlock a DIMM socket by pressing the retaining clips outward.
2. Align a DIMM on the socket such that the notch on the DIMM matches
the break on the socket.
3. Firmly insert the DIMM into the socket until the retaining clips
snap back in place and the DIMM is properly seated.
