一. Introduction:
PT series is a low cost, stand-alone, digital signage LCD display plays media files from SD CF card
or USB device targeted toward small-scale installations.
PT series is ideal for use in restaurants for menu boards, corporate offices and schools for
way-finding directions and product showcase signage for tradeshows and events; real-estate
locations as a property showcase, office locations for employee communications etc.
PT series signage system can be used to display and distribute media communication, videos and
images. It supports a wide variety of digital media files (JPEG, BMP, MP3, WMA, AC3, AAC, OGG,
MPEG 1 / 2 /4) which can be stored into a local USB Stick, CF or SD card. With an inbuilt timer, the
signage player is capable of turning-ON and turning-OFF at a preset schedule. The player can be
configured for AUTO-PLAY and AUTO-LOOP functions.
二. Main Functions:
1. Play back format: JPEG, BMP, MP3, WMA, AC3, AAC, OGG, MPEG 1 / 2 /4
2. Support multiple cards：CF / high speed SD/ USB2.0
3. One key copy function: files from USB / SD/ CF copy each other
4. BGM mode: picture playing with music. (BGM mode available automatically)
5. Automatically play video, music or picture when turn on the Power
Have 3 modes: Single file play, Folder play and All play.
6. Aspect ratio : 4：3 / 16：9
7. OSD: Chinese, English, Japanese, French, German, Danish, Spanish
8. Background music mode available (can be set by rear panel keys or by remote control)
9. Picture playback has 16 transition types and picture rotation is available (vertical image).
10. With Timer function.
11. Via mini USB can link to computer for copy or delete file in NAND flash.
(PC link method: press “SETUP” key on remote control →General setup→ USB mode → SLAVE)

this key. The screen will prompt 【 ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO DELETE THE
FILE? 】 , move arrow key to select ” YES” to delete fife.

I: Motion Sensor(this function only for motion sensor player)
The motion sensor can detect the approaching viewer within 118inches.
You can set the motion sensor mode according to your requirements, there are
four options as follows:
TURN OFF ---Turn off sensor .
AUDIO ON --- when there is nobody, it will display the media files without sound; when there is
an approaching viewer the sound speaker will automatically turn on, then turn off about 40
seconds after the viewer walks away.
POWER ON---
when there is an approaching viewer it will automatically turn on and play the
media files on the storage device; then automatically turn off about 40 seconds after the viewer
walks away
DISPLAY NEXT FILE--- when there is nobody, it will loop plays the “homepage” (you can name
a media file as “homepage” according to your needs) when there is an approaching viewer it will
automatically display the next media file, then come back to the homepage about 40 seconds after the
viewer walks away, (if there is no“homepage” you will get a black screen).

II：Barcode reader function:
Support input the bar code information from the Uart. Bar code can be read accurately at any time.
1. The PS2 interface connects with the laser or LED red light barcode scanner; the player auto plays the
corresponding file when the bar-code is read.
2. If there is no corresponding bar-code file in SD/CF card, you will find ‘’NO FILE FOUND’’ on the
screen.
(Remark: Please make sure every media file name the same with the barcode, that is, if the
barcode is 6924566616816, the file name should be 6924566616816 correspondingly.)
3. Notes:
A: If there’s “homepage” in card, it will be Loop-played without or after scanning.
You can name a media file as ‘’ homepage “according to your needs.
B: If there’s no “homepage” in card, no scanning or 5 seconds after scanning you will get a screen
showing” NO FILE FOUND” on black screen
C. If barcode being scanned, but no corresponding file in card, it will display “NO FILE FOUND” on
the screen.
D. When picture and video of a product coexist in the card, it will display the picture at first than
the video follows.
E. All the media files should be stored in the root content.
4. At most 30 codes can be read, the barcodes can be number, letter, symbol, as follows:

A type: there is 11 buttons (00, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) corresponding 11 files on the
card.
From the first button to tenth button ( 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 ) , if you push
any one of them, it will display the corresponding file, when the display of this file
finished, it will loop play the 00 file.
If no button being pressed it will also display the 00 file.
B type: there is 10 buttons (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) corresponding 10 files on the card.
From first button to ninth button (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9), if you push any one of
them, it will display the corresponding file, when the display of this file finished,
you will get a black screen.
If you press one of them, but there is no file in this folder, it will display “No File
Found”
For the tenth button (10), if you push this one it will loop play this file, no black
screen.
C type: forward or back from the files.
E type: there is 13 buttons (00, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12) corresponding 10 files
on the card.
From the first button to twelfth button (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12), if you
push any one of them, it will loop play the corresponding file.
It will always display the 00 file when power on.
Note: The buttons quantity and functions can be customized as customer’s requirements.
