Introduction
Leiden University provides access to the wireless network ‘Eduroam’. Eduroam allows you to access
internet using your own device.
Eduroam is available to staff, students and guests of Leiden University, as well as to guests of other
educational institutions. This user manual explains how you can configure an Eduroam profile on
your Android device.
Due to the great variety of Android devices, it may be that the screenshots below differ from your device.
The screenshots in this document are based on a Samsung Galaxy S2 with Android ICS

Connecting to Eduroam
If you are not automatically connected to Eduroam, you can select the connection manually in the
overview of available wireless connections. This should normally work from any location in the world
where Eduroam is available (you will then be able to access your own Leiden University ULCN
account).
