Tech Tips DX8100 DVR DX9200HDDI SUPPORT LIMITATIONS October 23, 2006 Helpful Tips for Pelco Products DX9200HDDI WORKS WITH DX8108 AND DX8116 There has been confusion recently as to whether the DX9200HDDI is compatible with the DX8100. A SCSI card recently qualified that works with the DX8100 and DX9200HDDI, however, due to hardware limitations the card only works with the DX8108 and DX8116 units. NOTE: The DX9200HDDI does not work with the DX8124 and DX8132 because these units do not have a viable slot available for the SCSI card. To connect the DX9200HDDI to the DX8100 do the following: 1. Install the optional DX8100-ISCI internal SCSI interface card in slot 2. 2. Move the main Capture card to slot 3. This procedure will be covered in detail in the DX8100-ISCI Installation manual.
