6–20 Configuring Storagesets Changing Initialize Switches The Initialize switches cannot be changed without destroying the data on the storageset or device. These switches are integral to the formatting and can only be changed by reinitializing the storageset. Initializing a storageset is similar to formatting a disk drive; all data is destroyed during this procedure.
