USER MANUAL Peplink Balance Series 17 Captive Portal The Captive Portal serves as gateway that clients have to pass if they wish to access the internet using your router. To configure, navigate to Network >Captive Portal to see the following screen: Captive Portal Settings Clicking the edit button trigger a dialogue where you can choose which LAN / VLAN to apply your captive portal. Apply On Click all LAN / VLAN that you wish to apply the captive portal to. Access Mode Click Open Access to allow clients to freely access your router. Click User Authentication to force your clients to authenticate before accessing your router. This authenticates your clients through a Radius Server.
