The large window shows the spring position (sphere) as a function of time. Both the X
and Y axes can be adjusted by double clicking on the graph. Note that the default is for
the Y axis to scale automatically, so it is important to make a note of the scale when
trying to determine the state of the Superspring.
The small window is the Superspring controller. This also displays the spring position
and allows the user to either “zero” the spring (automatically set it at its central position)
or enable the Superspring servo mechanism. Note that it is up to the user to enable the
Servo only after the spring has settled down (to a few 10s of mV). Once the Servo is
enabled, the Zero function is disabled (and vice-versa).
