2.2 ONEGATE(CSSR) as a major interface to the CKO2-application
General description
Onegate(CSSR) is the successor of CSSR. Onegate is the central reporting channel for many of the reports exchanged between
external actors and the NBB. CSSR is used for the reporting for several business domains and many institutions are using
ONEGATE as a communication channel.
Onegate offers a set of functions that are reused in the context of CKO2:
- security measures: confidentiality, authentication and authorization
- data validation
- high availability measures
- support for zipping
- messaging system between the system administrators and participants
- transformation of XML to HTML
It is important to note that the processing of a CKO2 reporting file via Onegate is always asynchronous.
When Onegate receives a report, the system will respond with an acknowledgement, in the form of a ticket ID. The
acknowledgement only indicates that the report was received and is ready for processing.
The processing by Onegate takes some time, depending on the size of the report. A feedback report is created after the processing.
The feedback report contains the result of the validation in Onegate. It is up to the declarer to retrieve the validation report for a
declaration.
The declarer has to take the initiative both for sending the declaration and the retrieval of the validation reports.
All inputs and outputs between the participants and the CKO2 will be exchanged via OneGate , except the single debtor
consultation function which is implemented as a synchronous function, in a specific CKO2 application.
The figure below shows that Onegate will be used for the reporting part of CKO2. The single debtor consultation function is not
part of Onegate.
