Using Metro ChatLINKSM
Your LG Lyric is compatible with Metro ChatLINK, a
walkie-talkie service that enables you to chat with up to
10 people at the same time—making connection with
friends and family both faster and easier!
Add a Contact
1. From standby mode, press the Right Soft Key for
@metro.
2.Press right on the Navigation Key to access my apps.
3. Scroll down to ChatLINK and press
.
4.Press the Left Soft Key for Options.
5.Scroll down to Add New Contact (2) and press
.
6.Enter the contact’s number using the keypad, and
then press down on the Navigation Key to move to
the Enter Name field.
7. Enter the contact’s name using the keypad, and then
press the Left Soft Key for Save.
Enable Buddy Alert
1. From the ChatLINK List, press the Left Soft Key
for Options.
2.Press
for Buddy Alert (1) and again for Enable (1).

Using MetroNavigator®
Experience the convenience of using your mobile phone
as a GPS device with MetroNavigator. With this service,
you can receive turn-by-turn directions right on your
LG Lyric.

1. From standby mode, press
Applications Carousel.
2.Scroll to MetroNavigator and press

3. MetroNavigator will authenticate your subscription
and update itself automatically. Once any updates
are complete, press
to select Navigation.
4.Select Find Destination (1), and then choose from
the available options. To enter a new address, press
the 3 Key.
5.Enter the address with the keypad, and then press
to navigate to that location.

Snap a shot or record a video whenever the mood strikes.

Take a Picture
1. From standby mode, press and hold
.
2.Press up or down on the Navigation Key to zoom in
or out.* Press left or right to adjust the brightness. To
adjust other camera options, press the Right Soft Key
for Options.
3. Press
to take the picture.
Record a Video
1. From standby mode, press and hold
.
2.Press the Right Soft Key for Options and choose
Switch to Camcorder (1).
3. Press
to start and stop recording.

Playing Music
With LG Lyric, you can enjoy your favorite songs anytime,
even while using your phone for other tasks.
Play Music
1. From standby mode and with a microSD card*
containing music already inserted in the phone, press
the Left Soft Key for Menu.
2.Press the 7 Key for Music and select All Songs (1).
3. Press
to play the first song.
Multitask While Listening to Music
1. To exit the player but continue listening to music, press
.
2.Press
for Yes (1) when prompted.
3. To stop the music from outside the player, return to
standby mode and press
. Choose Yes (1).
*Phone supports up to a 16GB memory card (sold separately).

Bluetooth® Pairing
Enjoy the freedom and convenience of wireless,
hands-free communication with Bluetooth wireless
technology and LG Lyric.
1. Place your Bluetooth device into pairing mode.*
2.From standby mode and with the slide open, press
the Left Soft Key for Menu.
3. Press the * Key for Bluetooth, and then select
Paired Devices (1).
4.Press the Left Soft Key for Search. If prompted to
turn on Bluetooth, press
.
5.Press
to begin a new search.
6.Once your device has been found, highlight it
and press
. If prompted, enter the passcode and
press
.*
7. Press
to connect to your device.
*Refer to your Bluetooth device’s user manual for information
about initiating pairing mode and the passcode, if needed
(typically “0000”).
