CPU Fan speed
The values for the above environmental parameters are all recorded in the BIOS
Hardware Health Configuration menu.
2.9.2 Operating Temperature and Temperature Control
The maximum and minimum operating temperatures for the NANO-4386A are listed
below.
Minimum Operating Temperature: 0ºC (32°F)
Maximum Operating Temperature: 60°C (140°F)
A cooling fan and heat sink must be installed on the CPU. Thermal paste must be
smeared on the lower side of the heat sink before it is mounted on the CPU. A heat sink is
also mounted on the northbridge chipset to ensure the operating temperature of the chip
remains low.
2.9.3 Power Consumption
Table 2-4 shows the power consumption parameters for the NANO-4386A running with
an Intel® Celeron® M, 1.4 GHz CPU with 512MB of 266MHz DDR memory.
