Fill Methods
3 - 35
#4
ALWAYS define the start of the first side with a Mk2 at location B in Figures 3-52 and 3-53.
#5
Use Mk1s in appropriate increments to define uneven sections of the first side, until you
get to line C-D.
#6
Continuing to refer to Figures 3-52 and 3j-53, define the end of the first side with a Mk2
at the end of line C-D closest to the first side.
#7
Define the start of the second side with a Mk2 at the end of line C-D closest to the second
side.
#8
Again use Mk1s in appropriate increments to define uneven sections of the second side,
until you get to point A of line A-B (see Figures 3-52 and 3-53).
#9
Enter a Mk3 at point A to complete the fill.
#10
ALWAYS digitize the smaller fills first when digitizing a design section that requires more
than one fill to complete the total fill. A good example of applying this rule is found
with the first fill digitized with the irregular shaped block, described on the pages
immediately following these rules.
