Step 6 – Select Segments
• When the map is created, segments of
the data can be selected for specific
analysis if the segment variables are
selected at this step. You can exclude a
portion of the cases by deselecting
levels in the ‘variable levels’ box.
• Under the variable levels box, the total
number of selected cases is shown, as
well as a poor – excellent rating for that
number of cases.
• Segments do not have to be selected to
create a map. To omit this option,
check the ‘Do not use segments’ box.
