Minimum requirements for modem:
9600 baud on DTE
Autoanswer enabled
Ignore DTR
Local echo disabled
Recommendation: Watchdog should be
integrated in the modem. The watchdog
automatically resets the modem if dialup connection breaks or if power failure
appears.
