1.3.3. Test Assembly Module (TAM) TAM’s main objective is to support the process of test assembly, i.e., to become flexible and easy process that may take only few seconds. Test forms can be assembled manually (by selecting items one-by-one), semi-automatically (by searching items through search criteria), or automatically(just by selecting test blueprint previously defined on TAM). Depending on how rich is your item-bank, TAM’s test automatic generation feature can create different equivalent and equated forms as much as you can imagine. IRT is implemented to support the assembly of equated test forms. After test assembly process is finished, test booklets are created and exported into Microsoft Office© format for ease of use. Test booklets can be also saved in the PDF format before sending them to the printer. TAM Key Features: Produce multiple test forms within single test. Generate reports to help in test construction. Generate reports for test characteristics curves (TCCs). Manual test construction feature is applied (by exploring items over bank levels and select preferred items). Semi-automatically test construction feature is applied (by searching items through search criteria). Test automatic generation feature can create different forms depending on the test framework and table of specification created by Item Development Module (IDM). Test automatic generation feature can create different forms depending on test criteria. Ability to publish assembled test forms to paper-and-pencil mode or computer based mode. 6
