Known Issues
24
1.
If RAID configurations have been deleted and created, you need to uninstall
and reinstall the EonPath software. The EonPath software recognizes RAID
configurations by a random device ID generated by firmware. A re-configured
array will appear with a different ID and hence the software needs to be reinstalled.
2.
If the need arises to change host LUN mapping, i.e., associate a logical drive
with different host ID/LUNs, you need to stop host application I/Os, uninstall
the EonPath program, reboot the host computer, configure RAID array LUN
mapping, and then re-install the EonPath program for the new configuration to
take effect.
3.
Make sure the EonPath is completely removed if you want to make changes
to LUN mapping. In Windows, you can check Computer Management, Device
Manager, check Disk drives and the SCSI and RAID controller items. Make
sure items such as “Multi-path device” have been removed.
