Description
The +FCQ compound parameter controls copy quality checking and
correction by a facsimile DCE. The <rq> sub parameter controls copy
quality checking and correction of data received from the remote station
and delivered to the local DTE; the <tq> sub parameter controls copy
quality checking and correction of image data received from the local DTE
and sent to the remote facsimile station.
Receive copy quality checking is the responsibility of the DCE, for
any data type supported. However, the DTE may turn off copy quality
checking by setting +FCQ=0,0, or by setting +FND=1 (8.5.2.10/T.32).
Copy quality checking consists of determining if the incoming image
data conforms to the negotiated standard format, e.g. Recommendation
T.4 or T.6. Copy quality correction consists of detecting errors and
