associated with 3xLOGIC VIGIL products.

Introduction
The table in Section 2 of this describes different files associated with the VIGIL suite of software products.
File types included in the File legend:

.vgl (VIGIL Update Files) – These files can also contain and install .dll update files. For the purpose of this guide,
only .vgl files will be listed as all required .dll files will included snf installed with with appropriate .vgl files.)

Installs files needed for the Central SQL Database feature.
Must be run after installing MSDE on the central SQL
Server when it is initially being set up.
Central Database Update v8_00_0000.exe
Updates Central SQL Server database to work with the
specified (in file name) VIGIL version. Should only be run
on Central SQL Server if it has already been set up, and if
VIGIL Server are being updated to the specified version.
Central Video Analytics Support v8_00_0000.exe
Installs files needed for the Central Video Analytics
feature. This file should be installed on the VCM server
after installing VCM server and MSDE.
VIGIL Central Management
(VCM)
Central Database Update (Multiple SQL Version)

Updates Central SQL Server database to work with the
specified (in file name) VIGIL version. Should only be run
on Central SQL Server if it has already been set up, and if
VIGIL Servers are being updated to the specified version

interface with cloud services for the purpose of streaming
Live video from a VIGIL Server.

Installs the EIRIS POS Integration Utility on a system
hosting VIGIL Server software.

Installs Gatekeeper VS. Only run this file if Gatekeeper VS
has NOT been previously installed.

Updates Gatekeeper VS to the specified( in file name)
version. Only run this file if a previous version of
Gatekeeper VS HAS been installed on the system.

Installs the Hirsch Integration Utility on a system hosting
VIGIL Server software.

Installs the MustekMecer POS 400 dStore5 UDP Reader
on a system hosting VIGIL Server software. This utility has
been engineered to interface the VIGIL Server with the
MustekMecer POS 400 system.
VIGIL Server
MVRLCD v8_00_0000.exe
Installs the MVRLCD utility, will update MVRLCD if a
previous version is installed. Should only be run on MVR
machines.

Remote VIGIL Big Lots Deployment Utility

Remote VIGIL Murphy Deployment Utility

Site Map Designer v8_00_0000.exe
Install the Big Lots VIGIL Remote Deployment Utility on
any system. This software is, intended to aid in the
deployment and configuration of VIGIL software and
systems in the existing Big Lots corporate surveillance
network.
Install the Murphy Oil VIGIL Remote Deployment Utility
on any system. This software is intended to aid in the
deployment and configuration of VIGIL software and
systems in the existing Murphy Oil corporate surveillance
network.
Installs the Site Map Designer software, will update Site
Map Designer if a previous version has been installed.

Installs the Big Lots VIGIL Deployment Utility on a system
hosting VIGIL Server software. This utility is intended to
expedite the configuration of a VIGIL Server system for

Installs VIGIL Client in the background, requiring no user
interaction. Only run this file if VIGIL Client has NOT been
previously installed.

installed.

Access suite.

Installs VIGIL ONVIF Server on a system hosting VIGIL
Server Software. VIGIL ONVIF Server software essentially
allows a Server to output all of its camera channel

added to other VIGIL Server’s as an ONVIF device,
granting quick access to all of the ONVIF Server’s camera
channels.

Installs VIGIL Ganz Video Clips Analytics on a system
hosting VIGIL Server software. This utility interfaces VIGIL
Server with a Ganz DVR and applies VIGIL analytics to
footage from the Ganz unit so it may be used in
conjunction with platforms compatible with the VIGIL
Analytics engine.

VIGIL Video Viewer v8_10_0077.exe
Installs VIGIL Video Viewer on a system hosting VIGIL
Server software. The VVV is a utility designed to interface
with the Sonitrol SONIP Access Control software suite or
other third party software.
