Set the Mech-Q BOM configuration items according to your choice:
• “BOM table row height” This sets the BOM table row height when
the Mech-Q Drawing Scale is set at 1:1
• “BOM table text height” This sets the BOM table text height when
the Mech-Q Drawing Scale is set at 1:1
• “Balloon text height” The BOM balloon text height (when the
Mech-Q Drawing Scale is set at 1:1) is set in this field.
• “BOM table rows limit” This specifies the number of BOM table
rows before a new table is build.
• “Balloon size” This sets the BOM balloon size when the Mech-Q
Drawing Scale is set at 1:1
You have a number of options for the “Balloon shape”: Circle, Double
circle, Hexagonal or Leader only.
BOM Table Build Options
You have control on how the BOM Table is build in your drawing. You can
select to send the BOM table to a File or it can be build in the Drawing
(Dwg). The “To File” option lets you export the BOM table to a file,
allowing you then to import the data to a spread sheet or database
program.
If you select the “To File” option – you can use the “CFG” tab to control the
type of data to export.

If you select the “Mech-Q BOM File” mode, the exported data is in a
suitable format to be imported into your drawing by using the Mech-Q
“BOM Table” command.
When you select the “Plain Text File” mode, the data is exported in a
simple text format (Most suitable for importation into spread sheet or
