Importing Clarification
• Each record has an internal ID number (X211P82)
• Records may be imported to:
– fix verifications
– Update IEP services, etc.
• The act of importing removes the original record and replaces
with the new.
– The original record counted on December 1. Table 1 = Yes
» New imports of the same student does not say
Table 1 = Yes
» Why?
» Because the record that counted (X211P82) was
deleted upon import. The student (by name) is
listed on the 12-1 report by the prior record.

Moved known to be continuing, Status “T”
To qualify as “T”, student has to be continuing in a
regular education or special education program in the
same school year in another Kansas organization. Federal
Requirement
Is request for records alone sufficient?
Does enrollment alone count?
Why?
A request does not mean the student is
continuing in all cases.
A student can enroll and never show up.

attendance.
