Part 3 - Getting Started – Logging into the site
There are two ways to login to Joomla websites.
The Frontend Login:
The frontend login is typically used to make changes to an existing article or add new content. You
may access the frontend login by going to your domain and typing in /login at the end of the
address. The complete address should look like this if your site is
public https://www.uab.edu/YOURDOMAINNAME/login or it may look like this if your site is on the
development serverhttps://wwwpj1.it.uab.edu/YOURDOMAINNAME/login .
You will then see a screen that looks similiar to the below; enter your user name and password.
Once logged on, you will see an Edit Article icon. Simply click on the Edit Article icon to make
changes to your document.
