Appendix 2 - Tutorial
Introduction
The usual procedure followed when using the program is:
1. determine layout of nodes on grid
2. place members between nodes on grid
3. Assign physical properties to members in frame
4. Assign support conditions to nodes of choice
5. Place loads on nodes of structure
6. Run analysis of structure
7. Read off member forces and force direction on truss display
8. View global stiffness matrix of structure in stiffness equations display
9. Determine displacement of nodes of structure from applied loads
