Feedback occurs when the processor’s microphone picks up and amplifies the processor’s output signal. Because the Sophono hearing
system delivers vibrational output, feedback can be dependent on the physical placement and stability of the processor. The Sophono
processor includes adaptive feedback cancellation as well as some filtering to control feedback.
Here are some tips to manage feedback:
1. Feedback Cancellation: Ensure that the Feedback Cancellation algorithm has been enabled, on the Initial Fit tab.
