8/44 Mx2wire+ User Manual: Introduction 1.2 Automatic Device Configuration When data and power are sent via the two-wire cable, a (feeding) Mx2wire+ unit functions as the sender while the other unit functions as the (data) receiver. The sender is the Mx2wire+ unit that is supplied directly from the PoE switch. Communication between the units is possible in both directions, as the ‘sender’ and ‘receiver’ roles always configure themselves automatically.
