OnTime Pro/OnTime Pro Extra 4.4.1. • Add an Exception • Delete an Exception • Edit an Exception • Half Day Exception • Exceptions and Over Time Calculations About Exceptions The attendance policy is designed for the normal, day to day work. Yet, there are exceptions, which must be treated differently. For instance: an employee sent to a course can not punch a card, but should be credited for a full workday (standard hours). Exceptions are recorded via the Edit Data option. The list of exceptions provides the set of available exception types. Each exception type consists of an identifying label, and may also include automatic changes, applied whenever this type is chosen. The applicable changes are: • Replacement of the workday type; and/or • Adding Standard Hours; and/or • Complementation of standard workday hours with exception hours;and/or • Preventing the deduction of any absence hours registered that day. The definition of exceptions is described below. The use of exceptions for editing data is explained in Chapter 9. DEFINING EXCEPTIONS: 1 Micronet Documents From the main window, click .
