The adjustable footrest consists of three adjustable components, the footrest bar, the support tube, and the individual footrest shoes. The footrest should be inserted into the bottom slot of the bracket located under the abductor. Insert the footrest bar until the spring loaded adjustment button “clicks” into the first adjustment hole. Pull the adjustment button out to move the footrest to one of the other adjustment positions. The support tube may be adjusted up and down the footrest bar by loosening the knob between the footrest shoes. This adjustment may be used to assist in controlling hip flexion or extension. When optimum position has been achieved, be sure to tighten the knob so the support tube maintains its position. 8 The footrest shoes can be trlted indrvrdually for ankle dorsiflexron or plantiflexion. This is accomplrshed by inserting a Phillips-head screwdriver in the hole in the footrest tube (directly under each shoe) and loosening the screw. Be sure to tighten the screw after repositioning the footrest. To secure the childs foot to the footrest, cross the webbing straps over the childs foot and fasten to the velcro under the front of the footrest shoe. 9 r-l Positioning Safety Harness See car seat instructions for harness directions on pages 5 and 6 Tumble Forms Came”’ Seat lnstructlon Manual page 10 of 12 adjustment SECURE STRAPS TO VELCRO
