Recalibrate a holographic image If a captured or imported image is not correctly centered due to aberrant calibration of the instrument, the image will look strange (Figure 59). It can be recalibrated. Clicking the Recalibrate button (Figure 60) in the Software Focus side window will result in a recentered image with an adjusted focal distance (Figure 61). 4.7.4 Using a background hologram The images are noise-improved by using a background hologram to subtract noise from the image. If the background hologram is not correctly set, it might instead disturb the image calculations. There is an option not to use the background hologram (Figure 60).
