CMSi Admin Manual _________________________________________________________________________ •
Read Only (edit set): This set makes nearly all form elements and menu options read only. •
Work Recording On (edit set): In this set just the fields on the Annual Report Work Recording tab relating to Staff are made editable. •
Your Organisation Non Admin (edit set): This set makes just the Site Code and Site Name fields read‐only so that staff cannot edit the data. By controlling the combination and order of these Permission sets in Permission Groups, you can achieve the requirement as shown below. The Permission Groups created are: •
Administrator: This group only has one Permission Set, Your Organisation All Staff (hide set), which controls which fields are made invisible for your whole organisation. All system administrator fields like the Permissions menu or Manage Lookups are visible as the Your Organisation Non Admin set is not assigned. All fields are editable as none of the “edit” permission sets are applied. •
Site Managers: This group has both the Your Organisation All Staff (hide set) switching off non‐ required fields and Your Organisation Non Admin (hide set) to hide the system administrator functions. In addition, it also has the Your Organisation Non Admin (edit set) so that the Site Name and Code fields cannot be edited. Note that the edit set is applied at the bottom of the list, with the hide sets above it having higher priority. _________________________________________________________________________ Page 20 Manual v 2 ©CMS Consortium 2012
