Once you have finished viewing the program’s output, press ˆ/]M˜ (the escape
key) to return to the previous menu.
The Post-Processor allows you to move through the output using the cursor keys (or
mouse). To go to the right use the right cursor key, and to go down use the down cursor
key. Use the ˆ:Q.X˜ and ˆ:Q?Z˜ keys to rapidly scroll through the output. To reach the
bottom of the output, press the ˆ/XN˜ key, and to return to the beginning of the output,
press the ˆ2YWO˜ key.
You can go to a specific line in the output by pressing G (for Goto). To perform a case
sensitive search press F (for Find). To perform a non-case sensitive search press S (for
Scan). To repeat the last search request press N (for Next). To abort a search press ˆ/]M˜
(the escape key). Pressing ˆ/]M˜ at any other time will return you to the previous menu.
If the program’s analysis terminates due to an error, you should browse the output to
determine what went wrong. The program includes error messages in its output to help
you determine what went wrong with the analysis. You can then make the necessary
alterations to the input data, then regenerate the data transfer file, and rerun the
analysis.
Hint
To quickly find error and warning messages in the program’s output, use the PostProcessor search function and scan for ERROR and WARNING.
3.10 Printing the Analysis Results
Once you are satisfied with the program’s output results, you may want to print the
results. To do this, follow these steps:
1.
From the program’s Main Menu select PRINT OUTPUT RESULTS and press
ˆ/X^O\˜. You will then enter the program’s Printer Control Menu.
2.
Select START PRINTING (or START FOREGROUND PRINTING) and press
ˆ/X^O\˜. This will start the printing of the program’s output results.
3.
After printing has completed you will be returned to the previous menu.
Note that you can abort printing at any time by pressing ˆ/]M˜ (the escape key). The
program will prompt you to make certain that you want to cancel printing of the output.
3.10.1 Selective Printing
If desired, you can have the program print only specific pages. Entering the Printer
Configuration screen from the Printer Control Menu, you can use the STARTING
PAGE and ENDING PAGE input entries to define the range of pages you want printed.
The program will default to printing all the pages of the analysis output. To limit the
range, type the page number of the first page you want printed in the STARTING
PAGE entry and the page number of the last page you want printed in the ENDING
PAGE entry. To print just one page, type the same page number in both entries.
