Loading from a file
The Magnum 12KX allows the user to load the configuration data from a file in the connected network if
there is no Auto Configuration Adapter connected to the device.
 Select the
Basics: Load/Save dialog.
 In the "Load" frame, click
 "from URL" if the user wants the Magnum 12KX to load the configuration data from a file and
retain the locally saved configuration.
 "from URL & save to Device" if the user wants the Magnum 12KX to load the configuration data
from a file and save this configuration locally.
 "via PC" if the user want the Magnum 12KX to load the configuration data from a file from the
PC and retain the locally saved configuration.
 In the "URL" frame, enter the path under which the Magnum 12KX will find the configuration file, if
the user wants to load from the URL.

 Click "Restore".
The URL identifies the path to the tftp server from which the Magnum 12KX loads the configuration file.
The URL is in the format
tftp://IP address of the tftp server/path name/file name
(e.g. tftp://10.1.112.5/switch/config.dat).
