Change Item Update Mode Change Item Update Mode forces an OPC item to behave in a specified update mode regardless of the group update mode setting. The default Item Update Mode is to use that of the group. See Action Tab Update Mode for a description of update modes. To change the Item Update Mode simply right click on the OPC item, choose "Item Mode", and select the desired update mode. The following example illustrates why you might want to do this. Page 192
