FEC Remote Lighting Controller HP0656 User Installation and Operation Manual 6.5 Output Setup Menu There are two options for controlling the output (relays): 1) Setting the time-out following activation by either the VHF receiver or via the keypad 2) Mapping the relays that are activated as a consequence of the input from the VHF receiver or the keypad Timer The timer option allows the time-out period to be set in the range 1 to 60 minutes with a default setting of 15 minutes. Changes are made simply using the F1 & F2 keys and then either quitting or saving when happy with the new value. Relays – Setting which relays respond to inputs By default the following mapping exists between inputs and relays set: VHF: 3 Clicks – Relay 1, 5 clicks – Relay 2 and 7 Clicks – Relay 3 Keypad: C-1 (circuit 1) – Relay 1, C-2 – Relay 2 and C-3 – Relay 3 Using this option allows any combination of relays to be mapped to these inputs (including none). In the above example, C-1 or 3 Clicks will activate Relay 1 (by default). This has been changed instead to activate Relays 2 and 3. This is a powerful facility for performing a variety of switching tasks. N.B. GSM circuits always switch their corresponding relays (e.g. C1 active – Relay 1 active).
