If the PBX has a fixed network connection in addition to
ECOTEL®, then a deviation in frequencies can occur between the
two. This causes frame slips which occasionally can cause the
port to be closed by the PBX. If problems of this sort occur, it is
necessary to use the synchronization techniques which are
described in the following sections.
