VIERLING Channel Name This is the name of the IO channel that is used when sending SMS messages instead of the %c placeholder. You can use this to describe the meaning of the channel, e.g. "Gate alarm", "Fill status control". Trigger Condition (in the Digital input operating mode) Send SMS on any... low-to-high transition A transition from low to high (rising edge) triggers an SMS. high-to-low transition A transition from high to low (falling edge) triggers an SMS. transition (edge sensitive) Any transition between high and low triggers an SMS. high pulse A transition from low to high and back triggers an SMS if at least the set pulse duration is present in the interim. low pulse A transition from high to low and back triggers an SMS if at least the set pulse duration is present in the interim. Pulse duration (only in the high pulse or low pulse trigger modes) Minimum duration of the impulse for it to be recognized as such Trigger Condition (in the Analog input operating mode) ® Explanation: As the trigger, ECOTEL records the two event types "Measured value moves beyond limit" and "Measured value returns to this side of threshold". They are always recorded in alternation and never the same type twice in succession. This prevents small fluctuations about the limit from generating continuous SMS events. Example: The input signal corresponds to a temperature to be monitored. The two event types are then interpreted as follows: "Temperature too high " and "Temperature back to normal".
