Managing Content FoldersManaging Content Modifying the Folder Display Ektron CMS400.NET provides two techniques for displaying the folder tree. (The folder tree appears in the left frame when the Content tab is selected, as shown below.) • Classic - used in previous versions of Ektron CMS400.NET • Ajax - available in version 5.1 or higher The following table contrasts the two techniques. Technique How it Works Advantage Classic Fetches all folders and subfolders while initially displaying the Workarea While initial wait time may be longer, the wait time for opening child folders is shorter Ajax Initially fetches only folders one level below Content (root) folder. Subsequent levels are fetched when user clicks the parent folder.
