HOW TO GET STARTED:
Step 1: Review components of the Metro Electronic Cigarette
The METRO electronic cigarette is comprised of the hybrid cartridge (inhaler,
liquid container and vaporizer are built as one piece), battery, and LED light.
Step 2: Charging the Batteries
The first step to using the electronic cigarette is charging the special
rechargeable lithium batteries. Insert the battery into a USB adapter, turning
clockwise to secure. Plug the USB charger into a Wall or Car adapter or
charge directly from a computer USB port (computer must be turned on). The
initial charge can take 2.5 to 3 hours to fully charge. The battery is fully
charged when the LED at the end turns off and the RED light on the charger
turns GREEN.
Step 3: Connect Battery to hybrid Cartridge
Once the battery component is fully charged, unscrew counterclockwise (turn
to the left) from the charger. Remove the silicone plugs from each end of the
METRO cartridge and dispose of properly. Then, screw onto the front of your
battery (turn to the right).
The METRO hybrid cartridge is the consumable product combining a
vaporizer and cartridge into the unit. Keep the cartridge out of reach of children
and pets as it may be a choking hazard.
FACTS & FAQ: Using METRO
To begin using, draw on the METRO electronic cigarette just as you would a
tobacco-smoking product. When you draw, you will taste the flavoring. If you
completely inhale, you will feel the warm vapor in your throat and will be less
likely to see a vapor mist when you exhale. Inhaling to a lesser extent will
allow more of the vapor mist to be visible upon exhale.
Monitoring Nicotine Consumption
The electronic circuit will start and the indicator light on the tip of the METRO
electronic cigarette will glow each time you draw. When you stop drawing, it
will automatically terminate the vaporizer, and the device will go into a standby
mode. There is no ʻon and offʼ switch on the METRO Electronic cigarette.
METRO Electronic Cigarette Hybrid Cartridges
METRO hybrid cartridges contain 4 major ingredients: water, nicotine,
flavoring and propylene glycol. METRO hybrid cartridges are available with the
following percentage of nicotine by volume: 1.8%, 1.2%, 0.6%, and 0.0% (no

reduced below a satisfactory level.
METRO Cartridge Care and Disposal
Your METRO hybrid cartridges should remain in the cellophane bag until you
intend to use them. Do not leave unsealed cartridges out in the open, as the
concentrated ingredients may dry out. Keep cartridges out of reach of children
and pets. Used or unused open cartridges contain nicotine may be poisonous.
If ingested, get medical help immediately or contact your Poison Control
Center immediately. In the US call 800-222-1222.
Battery Charge Longevity
The METRO battery will last approximately 12-24 hours before recharging is
required, depending upon the intensity of usage. Longevity is impacted by the
intensity of the puffs and will vary by individual. If customer consistently uses
the METRO battery, when the battery power is under 3.3V or the battery is
almost fully discharged, the battery LED will flash and repeat. The METRO
battery will then TURN OFF and enter the “METRO battery protection mode”
or shut completely off until the battery is recharged. If customer vaporizes
continuously for more than 7 seconds, the METRO battery will discontinue
working for 10 seconds, to prevent the METRO hybrid cartridge from
over-heating. Battery voltage: 4.0 – 4.1V. Battery Capacity: 180mAh
Water Vapor Mist
A METRO electronic cigarette emits a virtually odorless mist that evaporates
into the air within seconds, METRO leaves no visual residue in the air,
whereas traditional smoking can leave an unsightly cloud known to irritate
eyes and bother peopleʼs senses.
Can I Smoke METRO Anywhere?
Since METRO is non-flammable, contains no tobacco and emits no second
hand smoke, depending on your location, its use may not be prohibited by
statutes of ordinances. METRO customers have used the product without
issue or complaint in restaurants, workplaces, and many other locations. Still,
do not be surprised when people ask you about METRO. After all, to the
casual observer, using METRO creates curiosity. Customers report that simply
explaining to others how METRO works usually creates acceptance.
How Long do METRO Hybrid Cartridges Last?
One METRO hybrid cartridge will last approximately +300 draws. Results will
vary depending on the intensity of a personʼs average inhalation. Do not bite
down on the METRO hybrid cartridge, or the METRO hybrid cartridge may be
damaged and stop functioning. It is also possible if extremely high pressure is
applied to the METRO hybrid cartridge by biting or other means to the outside
of the METRO hybrid cartridge, for the cartridge lid to pop out and cause a
potential choking hazard.
Is METRO a Smoking Cessation Product?
METRO has never tested or proven to be a smoking cessation device and is
not sold or marketed as such.
