When the power cord is plugged in,
hazardous voltages are present in some
areas of the 8800. These voltages can cause
severe injury or death.
1. Turn off the 8800 and unplug its power cord.

2. Remove the top cover. Refer to procedure 4-1.

Note
Ensure that the replacement fan is oriented
correctly before mounting the fan to the
housing. Airflow is toward the top of the card
cage (into the bottom side of the top cover).
