Wall Outlet/Adapter Identification
Verify the style (Ohio Diamond, DISS, Schrader,
Chemetron, Puritan Bennett, O.E.S. Twist or
O.E.S. MedStar) of gas specific (vacuum, air,
N2O or CO2) adapter required. Adapters contain
a keyed feature for each gas to eliminate the
possibility of the user connecting the device
into the incorrect wall outlet and subsequently
the wrong gas source. Use the chart below for
proper outlet adapter identification.
Note the type of adapter required, not the
manufacturer’s name on the wall outlet.
