Maintenance Drain System Maintenance Drain system maintenance includes cleaning (or flushing) the drain system, replacing the drain tubing and emptying the drain vessel when full. Replacing the drain trap and switch assembly must be done by trained service personnel only. The figure below shows all the parts of the AAnalyst 200 drain system. The drain hose and vessel must be checked periodically for wear and/or chemical attack. The drain tubing should be clear with as few bends as possible. The drain system should be replaced if it has deteriorated. Figure 9- 10 The burner drain system. 9-32
