Tool Options C compiler option: --static Menu entry - Command line syntax --static Description With this option, the compiler treats external definitions at file scope (except for main) as if they were declared static. As a result, unused functions will be eliminated, and the alias checking algorithm assumes that objects with static storage cannot be referenced from functions outside the current module.
