Rebalancing a Portfolio
Over time, the asset allocation of a portfolio becomes out of line with its target asset allocation and you
may wish to rebalance the portfolio. Investments Profiler allows you to review the current asset allocation
of your clients portfolio against the target asset allocation and determine if you need to rebalance the
portfolio.
Research
Open the Portfolio you wish to review. Click the two opposing arrows in the top right of the Current Asset
Allocation chart. The screen will rotate and display a Target and Current Variance chart, detailing how
overweight and underweight the portfolio is in each asset class in percentage terms.
A Rebalancing Report can be printed to support and help explain any changes you make to a portfolio. To
print the Rebalancing Report, click the Print button at the top of the screen. A list of available reports in
PDF format will be displayed. Clicking on the report will open the document and from here you can print by
clicking the print icon or save it to a file by clicking on the save icon.
