Preview
On this page you can set whether an image of the text is saved as a JPG file when
making changes to a print text. You can then add this image to the order papers, for
example.
The JPG image is scaled and wrapped automatically based on the following values.

Function
Description
Saves preview when layout has
changed
Is this option activated, the AJWin software saves a JPG of the current
print text each time a change is made.
Width of the preview (in pixels)
Here you can set the width of the JPG image in pixels.
Height of a line in the preview (in
pixels)
Here you can set the height of one line of the JPG image in pixels.
Number of rows in the preview
Here you can specify how many rows the print text will be wrapped onto.
• 0 - AJWin calculates the needed number of lines independently and the
preview always contains the complete print image.
• 1 – The preview image will be cut at maximum width.
• > 1 – The preview image is wrapped and when necessary it is cut.
Zoom
Sets the zoom factor of the JPG image in whole numbers. The default
value is 1.
Preview files directory
Here you can select a folder where the JPG files are stored. When the
selected folder is empty or does not exist the files are saved in the global
system path for documents.
Variable Fields
A variable field is an object whose content is determined when it is send to the printer.
