Connect at the far end a
simple 4 ports LAN switch

Check:
• That the cable connected is the one you are
testing at the far end (might be labeling
problem) - check the port is working with
another device
• The patch panel contacts and labeling
• That the Flex-Jack Terminal block contacts are
not contaminated.
• Connect Flex-Jack LAN Jack in to the FlexJack housing and use LAN cable tester to
check the cable (If cable tester not available –
connect a laptop computer and check for LAN
connectivity)
Press again the cable wires into the terminal
block. Check that wire insulation penetrated by
each terminal.
