128 Configuring the switch
Setting system operational modes
You can set the next stack mode operation of either a stack of BPS 2000 only, or a
mixed stack of BPS 2000 and BayStack 450 and 410 switches.
To set the next stack mode operation:

From the main menu, choose Configuration > Stack Operational Mode.
The Stack Operational Mode Setting page opens (Figure 49).

BPS 2000 Stack or Hybrid Stack.
Next Stack operational Mode (1) Pure BPS 2000 Stack
(2) Hybrid Stack
Choose whether your stack is BPS 2000 only, or a
mixed stack of BayStack 450 and BPS 2000 (Hybrid
Stack).
