Configure MP menu Menu item Description Configure MP Cassette Manual First Determines when the printer selects paper from the multipurpose feeder Notes: • Cassette is the factory default setting. Cassette configures the multipurpose feeder as the automatic paper source. • Manual sets the multipurpose feeder only for manual feed print jobs. • First configures the multipurpose feeder as the primary paper source. Substitute Size menu Menu item Description Substitute Size All Listed Off Statement/A5 Letter/A4 11 x 17/A3 Substitutes a specified paper size if the requested paper size is not available Notes: • All Listed is the factory default setting. All available substitutions are allowed. • Off indicates that no size substitutions are allowed. • Setting a size substitution lets the print job continue without a Change Paper message appearing. Paper Texture menu Menu item Description Plain Texture Normal Rough Smooth Specifies the relative texture of the paper loaded Card Stock Texture Normal Rough Smooth Specifies the relative texture of the card stock loaded Transparency Texture Normal Rough Smooth Specifies the relative texture of the transparencies loaded Recycled Texture Normal Rough Smooth Specifies the relative texture of the recycled paper loaded Note: Settings appear only if card stock is supported.
