JCL Requirements // OPTION SYSPARM='event-name' // EXEC TSIDxxx // OPTION SYSPARM=' ' Control Statements Two OPTION statements are required: one to specify the event name as a SYSPARM and one to clear the SYSPARM so it does not affect later processing. event-name specifies the name of the event to be posted (the name of the job to be released). It may be 1 to 8 characters long. TSIDxxx specifies the utility you are executing. Specify TSIDREL, TSIDLOC, TSIDCHK, or TSIDUNL. Example This job executes TSIDREL.
